Sherwin Williams Carries wallpaper books but they don’t have wallpaper on hand, they order it for you from the manufacturer. Not many if any places have wallpaper on hand since its such a niche market

I agree , I am not going to buy Sherwin Williams any more. I always wait for the 40 % off, however in September missed the sale because off flood rain,they did not even think of extending it.

I spoke to a rep over the phone and he advised to come in the next week, he will talk to management, I called before I go in and I was told no who did I speak to unfortunately I did write the name, We are customers for long time. OVER AND OUT No accommodation of any time

I've seen 6 groups of people standing at the color gallery in a box store one day and all of them were being ignored by the 4 employees at the paint counter AND the 3 managers at the back of the department. This is what yo get when you buy paint from a store where the employees are paid by the hour.

They feel no inclination to initiate contact with customers at all. In fact when I worked at Menard's, I was told by the store manager to ignore customers and get my sale signs put up, and it "didn't matter how many customers are in the department, unless they specifically ask for help don't help them". That's the real world of the box stores. (and SW, being 100% company owned and operated stores, are essentially operating as box stores).

I suggest finding a true locally owned place to buy your paint, where at least the owner may care that his employees are helping customers. And do it before it is too late for you, as small locally owned and operated paint stores are nearly extinct as it is because of the box stores.

As a former employee of SW with over 10 years experience from entry level to Management, always bring your complaint directly to the Manager of the store. If the issue is not fixed, take it to the next level i.e the District Manager.

Managers have a lot of leeway when handling complaints. Anything involving more than $500 in material has to get approval through the District Office. Never call their Customer Service Line. The next stop after the DM is Regional Manager.

No DM wants any type of complaint going to the RM and will almost always handle it in house. Hope this helps. FYI. No paint manufacture will pay labor cost to have a defective product replaced for a homeowner.

They will only replace the paint at the same quality level and amount of the original purchase.

The only way to recoup financial loss is through the courts. Good Luck.
