Poor Customer Service

Two bad customer experiences. One was resolved by finally speaking to the Conroe, TX store manager. I'm a Paint Perks customer, recently moved into a new home where gallons of SW Paint was specified. In seeking a small amount for touch up, High Reflective White #7757, I was told I can only get it in gallon size that's the only size. Why not a tester size? Employee was rude offered no suggestions. Help?

Bad Customer Service

Called the store, seeking a tester size for touch up, High Reflective White #7757. I'm a Paint Perks Customer and many gallons were specified in my newly built home. All I need is for touch up and was told only available in gallon size. They have the formula, why not provide a smaller size? Store was about to close, employee was rather rude and offered no suggestions to help solve my problem.

Dissatisfied

wrote several letters and emails, no response regarding reimbursement for labor on deck stain. I sent lots of pictures and we were reimbursed for the paint but now we have to pay another $1200 to be restained. I can resend letter if you'd like. Attempting to locate monthly rent check

I own the Sherwin Williams building in Georgetown, SC. I have not received the rent check for this month which is highly unlikely. I dont know if something has happened in the mail. Issues with there Emerald paint, semi gloss

I used this paint throughout my house on the trim. It was very disappointing. After three coats on all the trim it shows dull spots. Even if I rolled it on or brush it on. It Looks good before it dry, but as soon as light hits it you see dull spots. And this is not cheap paint. And I'm not an amature at painting. It seems to me the paint dry way to fast. I'm done with Sherwin-williams.

I hired a painter to stain my deck. He recommended and applied Sherwin Williams-superdeck.

After one year, the stain peeled off.

The painter said this is known as a very good product and should last 3-5 years.

I called the Sherwin Williams store in Minocqua Wisconsin, where my cottage is located and home to the painting company. I spoke with a man named Drake. He said the stain only lasts one year here in Wisconsin and offered 2 free gallons of stain as consolation for the failed staining job.

This is a very poor customer service attempt and a poor representation of your product. The "free" 2 gallons is good, but certainly doesn't take into account the labor to apply, remove and reapply the product.

This prompted me to contact the Sherwin Williams corporate office. I spoke with Jackie, who gave me the telephone number of the district manager-Ryan Caho.

I am disappointed that I have to get involved with more managers after calling the corporate office.

Why couldn't customer service handle it?

I called Ryan Caho. As of today I have not received any response.

You can see it was not prepped correctly by your contractor. Look how dirty it is under the paint. Paint is only as good as the surface it adheres to, and sadly yours wasn't a good one.

Report on Duration applied in 2008

Store employees very helpful. Was offered a 20% discount off the published price. Applied 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Duration to my 2800 sq ft home which had Hardiplank type concrete fiber siding and wood facia and soffits. It is now December 24th in 2020 and the yellow paint on the siding looks almost new. In addition, paint on the wood boxing is also holding up very well. I would not repaint with anything other than Duration. Incidentally, I used a premium paint in 2000 when we built our home and it needed to be repainted rather badly in 2008. It was peeling off the boxing and was fading rather badly on the siding.

Sherwin Williams - COVID 19 complaint
As I Entered Store Signage Read customers need to wear mask. Inside store SW offered mask and sanitizer. Customer was walking around store with no mask. Not obeying the 6 ft distance rule. After an hour of waiting to be waited on I asked the SW employee if she challenged this customer. She replied NO. Not good..Train your employees to follow the SW guidelines..

Your website is incredibly hard to use when trying to actually buy paint! It just takes you around and around and around and around in circles. I know what I want to buy, but it is a treasure hunt to just find the right menu to actually buy paint. Really? What a mess.

Coupon cancellation

Received coupon that had to be used with an online order. Ordered online, one product consisting of 2 gallons would be ready in 3 days. Okay, so the next day the manager cancelled the order for one of the 2 gallons of product that would take 3 days. Why did he cancel it because then that made my coupon useless. I already knew it would take 3 days to be ready and now they want us to pay full price for the product.

Associates screwed up my 2 gallon paint order by 50% ( I ordered 2 gallons of the same type and color in person, they made one gallon ), they quoted me $25 a gallon then tried to charge me $42.42 a gallon ( huge bait and switch! ).

They lost my gallon of paint that I brought in to match and tried to shoo me away without it, and without the other gallon of paint that I ordered. My order had to be rung up 3 times because associate missed items. Associate became visibly angry with me for pointing out mistakes.

There was only one other person in the store when I placed my tiny order and they still couldn't handle it without totally botching it. Will never go here again!

Please specify location. I've had "paint experts" become annoyed with me for pointing out expired shelf life of paint they sold us ; I was a professional purchasing agent for a major electrical equipment building corporation and one of my responsibilities was paint ( several hundred gallons per week ) for nearly 30 years.

I mumble about paint formulae in my sleep ... 'ASA 61, 55 gallons, by 1:15 this afternoon ...' .

I don't need some minimum wage disinterested attitude laden trainee to disregard my expertise and argue with me over viability. (That store is no longer in operation).

Went to your location off panola rd, employees ebony grace matched my paint wrong. At the time it was 3:57 she told me to come back the next day because it would take too long to make it again and she was leaving at 4. I stated i cant come back tomorrow. She then said she would try to make it in 3 minutes then came back and said it would take too long and refused to match the paint. I complete waste of time and customer service is *** poor. I will never be returning to your store. How you refuse to serve the customer??

Rather bad customer service and Sherwin Williams specializes in paint? Best to buy pain elsewhere if that is the attitude of employees. You should have complained to the store manager and had him mix the paint prior to firing the lazy employee.

Not in compliance

At the Hollywood Florida store, on Hollywood Blvd, an employee is refusing to wear a mask. From what I was told, this is in direct violation of company policy, as well as a violation of the public health policy that Broward County has put in place.

The name that appears on his shirt is Omar. He could be asymptomatic and spreading this virus to any and everyone he comes in contact with. Omar does not seem to care. When asked about him not wearing a mask he replied, "It's my personal choice".

Apparently he is the only 1 at that location that is allowed to make such a personal choice. Because of this person going in and out of the building and potentially exposing people to COVID19, I have chosen to take business to the Hollywood store on Taft St, where EVERYONE there is in compliance.
