I am writing in reference to Case #1151**** to provide additional clarification and to formally acknowledge the actions taken by the Sherwin-Williams store on Nostrand Avenue, Brooklyn.
After reviewing the situation in detail, I would like to clearly state the following: The Nostrand Avenue store manager followed the correct formula and numerical specifications when producing the paint. The color discrepancy originated from an incorrect sample issued by the 3rd Avenue store, despite the sample carrying the correct color name and designation.
Once the issue was identified, the Nostrand Avenue store manager acted in good faith to resolve a problem that did not originate at his location.
It is also important to note that: In correcting this issue, the Nostrand Avenue store incurred a direct financial loss, as the manager provided corrective paint without charging me, despite the error originating from another store location.
As I understand it, each store operates with its own financial responsibility, and the Nostrand Avenue store was not obligated to absorb the cost of another stores mistake.
I would like to formally state that: No fault or responsibility lies with the Nostrand Avenue store or its management. The manager demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and a strong commitment to customer service by resolving this matter despite the financial impact to his location.

The Paint quality has gone down immensely. I do not recommend this paint any more I have been working with this company for over 20 years I no longer recommend this company or this paint any more.
the customer service is very bad and so is the paint quality. The interior paint duration, super paint and proclasic they are horrible paint they have trouble with drying they do not have any body. This paint drips down. This extremely expensive for the quality you are selling.
This company no longer give warranty for the paint. Now all the gallons have apply primer first before using the paint. When you paint interior from white to white. now according to them you need to mandatorily apply primer first.
When before this was never necessary. The dark color also look good as the base color are very bad and the paint looks streaky.

I called Sherwin-Williams customer service and spoke to a gentleman named Sam. I told him of the issue with the major rust that formed on the lid and the can and that it ruined nearly a half a gallon of paint.
Sam told me it is not their problem and that if anyone lives in a high humidity state, all of their paint should be stored in an air conditioned house. I have purchased paint from other companies and have never had a problem with the lids rusting. Beware of this company as they do not stand behind there product, which would also include the can and the lid. They are fully aware that their paint cannot be stored in a garage and must only be stored in an air conditioned location.
Sam offered no solutions other than to keep the paint in air conditioning or transfer it to glass jars.
He also suggested that I should have used all of the paint that I purchased at one time. Do not buy paint from this company.
User's recommendation: Do not purchase paint from Sherwin-Williams. If you do, make sure you keep the product in an air conditioned house and any leftover paint should be transferred to small jars with lids that do not rust.

They made a satin shine instead of flat in making two gallons of paint to copy a previous paint I purchased from them. Once I noticed their mistake and returned to the store and showed them their mistake, the clerk named 'Mohit' in Woodinville, quite arrogant and disrespectful, argued in every way he could in order not to accept the responsibility of making incorrect luster and correct their mistake!
Terrible customer service. Never am I going to use them.

Why one person can buy all the pallets of mis match paint from one store?
How can one person buy all the mis match paint in the Sherwin Williams Store in Albany Ga. A person selling on Marketplace, on all other sites and flea market in Albany Ga.

Colour match wrong by store and i am not getting satisfactory response from stire
Store mismatched the colour and I painted the 70% house exterior with that mismatched paint and when my client checked it she complained about the colour and then we realized that the actual colour is so different. I went to store and told that its store mistake as they mismatched the colour.
They are not accepting there mistake.
Now the home owner is so pissed and back charging me because its been a week store sales rep and sales rep are not responding and playing a blame game. Please give me a call i will explain it properly.

This is James Villarreal I've applied to Sherwin-Williams six times within the last few years and every single time I'm turned down for even an interview I've got 28 years experience and manufacturing and distribution and I can't seem to figure out why. I could be a valuable asset to the company this makes no sense?.
Thin paint
I've painting for years. My paint store is closed on Sundays so I went to Lowes and bought Sherman Williams.
I've never experienced anything like this. The paint is so, so thin and shows every stroke. If I continued, I would surely need at least 2 coats, maybe 3 to even it out. So disappointed in a product that's been around for decades.
Stopping and buying quality Benjamin Moore tomorrow.
Benjamin Moore = One and done! Lesson learned.

I stopped buying Sherwin Williams paint after my last visit to a local Sherwin Williams paint store to pick up a quart-sized can of touch-up paint. I nearly fell over when they charged almost $40 for this paint.
One gallon is almost $100. They made a massive increase in prices to satisfy their stockholders at the expense of the middle-class homeowner. The bottom line is this: you will not be able to tell if Sherwin Williams paint is on your wall when a skilled painter does the job.
There are many reputable paint companies that make durable paint for half the cost. Do yourself a financial favor and look elsewhere for paint.

This is the second time I've been there. The locations were different, with one being managed by a man and the other by a woman.
Both were extremely, passively rude, they exhibited short patience, and were condescending. They continually interrupted me as I was trying to speak. It was an unprofessional environment and not welcoming at all. If this wasn't the paint used in my home when it was built, I would never go back there.
I would even encourage other people, especially people like me, to avoid that place. If this continues to be a consistent experience, I may take further action.

I was not treated well as soon as I walked into the store. Then when I paid for the paint - over $100 for one gallon!
I paid and walked out. Got home - started using their paint. And it was lumpy! It dried so fast that it left bumps!
I took pictures and sent them right away and called. I'm still trying to get my refund four days later! They are very unprofessional and lack the kindness they should extend to a first-time customer. Now they say I have to be on the road for over two hours to get my refund?!?
I told them to send me a check or put it back on my credit card. I've heard nothing!

I want inform you of a safety hazard at your Falmouth Highway, Mashpee MA store. Drivers are cutting across your property as a shortcut to and from a street named Ninegret Ave.
While walking one day I was almost hit by a driver using the shortcut. This area needs a fence or bollards to prevent this.
Left unrepaired, a serious accident is inevitable. Thanks
Will state my reason when the call is answered
I have been a loyal Sherwin-Williams customer for more than 30 years. Every home that I have purchased or renovated has been done with Sherwin-Williams paint.
Unfortunately, I am very dissatisfied at your current inflated prices.
I need a small amount of touchup paint, and I am asked to pay approximately $30 for a quart. This is nothing but greed and a total disrespect for customer loyalty.

Bad Service
We are required to supply a book to the clients for each one of our warehouse building projects. The city actually wants to inspect the book to get the final inspection.
Today, I drove to three different Sherwin-Williams stores to request draw downs. The first store informed me that they no longer produce draw downs. They directed me to the store, which is located down the street approximately 5-miles. When I arrived at this second store they informed me that corporate has moved all draw downs to the Santa Ana store, so I drove to this store, located at 1958 E.
Edinger Ave., Santa Ana. When I arrived at this store, I was told that unless the paint was purchased from this store, we will not create draw downs.
We must purchase 1,000-gallons a year of paint through our subcontractors.
the interesting this is that I went to the Vista Paint store to request two copies of draw downs for their paint and they said no problem.
My suggest is that anyone thta wants quality service, DO NOT GO TO SHERWIN-WILLIAMS.

Asked if they would tint to a very light blue the problock oil base primer and the answer was. Maybe asked if it dries flat answer.
Maybe we'll then was told to take my business elsewhere.
Sherwin Williams will hire anyone because they treat their employees with no respect. I know this for fact as my oldest son was a store manager in abilene Texas as well as Waco Texas prior.

I now know how S.W.
deals with their customers. All I can say is you might not be getting what you think you are supposed to receive.
I bought over $280 of paint, I got the wrong item and after 1 month they refuse to prove I'm right, and they offer no recourse.
